Oil PROBLEM, need help of the best :)

    Hi,
My 3B has oil with the correct pressure on the turbo oil feed, but NO oil on the oil sensor and switch on the right side of the block.
The pressure regulator valve is loose, the pump is perfect, the filter and oil are new, on the filter housing and turbo is the correct pressure, but when I remove the oil sensor and switch => nothing.

    I really do not understand.
Does anyone have a schematic of how the oil channels trough the engine flow?
Maybe the channel to the sensors is blocked?
The main bearing caps are new, the scat bearings are new, they were correct put in and the correct type.

Please help me, not a single person can tell me what to do.
Hope I do not have to tear the engine appart.

    Thanks

From memory the pump output travels down the block, though the oil filter assembly, then into the main oil gallery feeding the piston squirter's, and crank bearings. Above no 3 cyl crank bearing there is an oil gallery going to the other side of the head. This is the lower hole with the single wire oil pressure sensors sits. Then another oil gallery runs from there straight up to the head, this is the gallery the second oil pressure sensor plugs into.

First thing i would do is remove the lower oil pressure sender, then the small one way valve inside the hole and crank the engine over. It should squirt oil all over the place. Dont start it obviously, just crank it over. Also worth noting that little one way valve can be easyly crused when using ARP main studs.

      Wow.
The pressure relief valve in the oil pump housing has been in and out 3 times since the problem, it seems loose.
I did place arp main studs!
before I noticed the problem, I thought the sensor was broke, so the engine ran to 90 degrees.
Someone told me if the main bearings have no oil, the engine would have crashed already.

Is it the relief valve I should check or another valve?

Thans for the most informative reply so far

I think you should try a mechanical oil pressure sensor so that you can see you have pressure on the sensor mounts and then you know the sensor is at fault. If you have oil from the turbo feed you should have oil pressure for sure.

The Arp studs have one shorter one, this should have gone where the oil check valve is

Check the one way valve in the block. Pisobiker had the same problem.

It seems to be this problem http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...ight=oil+valve
So, is it possible to solve this without changing the stud and removing the oil pan?

Does anyone know where the short main stud bolt exacly goes?
I find the info provided (none) with the arp main stud kit very sad.
Is there a way to get the crushed valve out of the engine when it's damaged?

"if" the valve has been crushed you are going to need to take the stud out to free it and then take all the studs out and see if you have a shorter one.

I have told arp about this but they dont seem to listen.
