Turbo Boost

A 3B doesn't have the overboost option and stock it makes around 0.85bar of boost and cannot go higher than 1bar as it has a 2bar MAP sensor fitted.
I thought most so called "stage 1" chips would make around 1.3bar max on a 3B
If it has had a 2.5bar map sensor then you can get 1.5bar max boost (dropping to 0.8-0.9bar at redline) but anything around that or above that will shorten the life of the turbo, particularly with a stock exhaust system.

You probably have a massive boost leak somewhere, N75 disconnected or your ECU is in limp mode.Comment

Limp mode and N75 disconnected should both give you 0.4bar max boost so as Prj says, probably a mahoosive boost leak - and to be that bad it is more than just a jubilee clip that needs tightening so I would check for a split hose of leaking IC.

N75 - search this forum.
To check for limp mode - you need to pull the error codes off the ECU.
To check for boost leak - you need to pressurize your intake, search this forum.Comment

could not find better thread...
I need your advice how to connect small boost pipe/hose (which is connected to ECU) to this VDO turbo gauge...Sizes are completely different as you can virtually imagine... inside diameter of the hose/pipe around 2-3mm, inside diameter of VDO flange around 1-1,5cm.
What parts do I miss? Any picture available?
Looking forward to receive your support!
