    Bosch EV14 630cc injectors

I read somewhere in here about these injectors of having better qualities than the siemens Dekas.

anyone tried them, seen any practical advantages?

I´ve been told by a tuner that it´s not worth to chance deka630->EV14 but if you are buying injectors you should definitely go for EV14.

all the tuners in the USA have switch from the deka's to the EV14's at least on the 2000-01 S4's.

      From Tony@EPL Labs

There are 2 different ohm ratings and 3 tiers of quality. If you buy the incorrect ones they basically dont work.

just looking ahead as to what options i need injector-wise and found this posting. Did you ever get any of these injectors?

I am trying to source a set at the correct length etc.....and this might be a daft question but will it effect the car as i am not going to run VEMS software....

i would like to try them at some point. It looks as though i may not be in need of the large dekas, as the turbo is smaller. BUT i wont do anything now for 2 reasons. 1) no money, 2) id like to do a ported head and remap before deciding that i need smaller injectors!

what is bad with your idle? Right now and without having to use the Idle valve the engine idles with 7A cams and 630 Deka on VEMS just like the stock bosch injectors and RS2 cams.

I think if someone buys these injectors afterwards he would like to see a difference in idle for sure :-p

You spec your injectors to your turbo size and bhp aim

ev14 are not a direct fit in size as they are 48mm injectors, deka's are a direct fit

The difference between ev14 and deka's is not that big in comparison to old tech injectors which my audisrs post was about hence you will be fine with either type of injectors
