i guess i have problems with maf. i will be glad if anyone can tell me if he had some problems with maf, what are symptoms of death maf, etc....
i have problems with performance. sometimes car goes great but some times not. i have already checked replaced: bypass ventil, WG, WGFV, i have no leaks in hoses..... so i think maf should be replaced next.....

should i buy bosch maf? does anyone know part number? one of members in s2forum gives me number 0-280-213-007, the same number is on pauls hp, but local bosch partner say, that number for oem MAF is 0-986-280-137. So whitch number is right ops: :confused:

Accoring to ETKA the Audi part number for an ABY MAF is 034-133-471-K as far as I can tell it is the same part for a 3B.

Thats an Audi number that Leigh is quoting.

The Bosch number starts with 0 - I will look it up later

Grega, as per PM sent the right Bosch number (checked on my MAF and invoice) is 0-280-213-007.

he said that item wit that number was original fited to car and cant be purchased

Just take it out of the car and clean the dust and oil from the resistor and the platinum wire. check also the plug for corrosion and clean it. It usually helps.

so i solved my problems with MAF. i completly remuved it, and i cleaned sensor inside. Since i done it i have no problems with performance. I advice anyone who has problems with maf to try it!
