Engine Still missfiring over 1,2 bar

As recommended I checked the coilpacks, and there was a spark leak over coilpack number 5. I called the local stealer and they told me that they don`t have the part and it costs like 500 Us dollars. For just only one coil pack. I solve the leak, because When I was back home saturday the car which only missfire at high boosts starts to missfire at all revs. Coilpack was not changed, only repaired, and the high boost misfire continues. PS I changed the fuel filter too. Any one can help me ???

Do you have vagcom?

If it's misfiring it will show up on fault codes.

I already use it, anda no fault except for the chip fault. Do any one knows how many boost a chip S2 must have, can the 250kpa MAP handle more than 1,6 bar ???

I cannot see how vag-com will show up a fault code for a misfire.

How have you tested the coilpacks at boost? I think you have a coilpack going bad if it is only failing when you get over 1.2Bar of boost. What spark plugs are you running?

thats the point the old owner was running on original A3 turbo, sparks with 3 pins on it. I insist that are not corret for this car, running on higher boost. Am I crazy or stupid ????

Doug, do you know the difference between the original K24 S2 turbo to the new K24 ??? Sims to me that the new one is bigger than the original ... Do you think it`s a good upgrade ???

Get the standard OEM Bosch plugs in the car before you do anything else.

What new K24 turbo? Out of what?

The K 24 that we have here in Brazil is cold case .50 hot (i don`t know) So I think its bigger than the original S2 turbo ????

thanks josh, but I think I found my problem.... the problem now, is to get the coilpack here in Brazil. At local Dealer they costs about 560 us dollars.

I tried and waiting to their reply, I tried also iberparts@galicianet.com They are at Vigo Spain, is cheaper for me because of the money exchange pounds are very very expensive here +- 5 per 1.
