Hi Mate,
My UrS6 automatic transmission still has a problem about the boost.I have fitted the new GT2871
With 034 s/w last year. The car was running great but the boost needle was
flickering at the top end boost around 1,6-1,7bar.I decided to put the Greddy
E-01 electronic boost controller and disabled N75.the E.boost controller fixed the flickering
boost needle on the top ended boost issue.A few months later,I feel like my car was running
weired. It feels my car pulled not that hard at the higher RPM until in one day I
noticed that the car was running lower than the preseted boost(0,9-1,1bar)while it was nearly to
hit the redline.I spent a couple days to monitor how was the boost behavior.
I'd like to conclude that when I preseted the max. Boost over 1,5 bar and floor
down the gas when the RPM was passing 5K or above,My boost needle
would suddenly drop from 1,6bar to 0,9Bar.It 's not kinda boost tapered off.
The boost will just almost totally loss in a second .The car was running fine
if you just preseted the max boost not above 1.3bar.The boost is doing well and
fine if you just accelerate from standstill and shift them up earlier.
Here's the list I have diagnosed.
-replace the 710N with Forge 007 DV with stiffer spring.
-Disabled the E.boost controller,Enabled N75 WG solenoid.
-replace with one spared wastegate(going to replace with another spare)
-visually check the vacuum, boost hoses.Havn't pressured test yet.
I don't think there will be any leaks.
-Screw down fews more turns on the top of the WG(I have 1,9bar WG spring)
-replace the good used transmission(with first realized that it's cause from
sliperage clutch)
-swap 4bar<>5bar FPR
I still have no idea if there's any sensors still manipulate boost level ie,
MAF,knock sensors,air temp sensor,coolant temp sensor,etc as far as
I'm now disbled the N75 and running with E.boost controller. I don't
think that they still can control the boost anyway.I have been spending
Over 6months to investigate and almost give up now.Maybe my GT2871
Is getting bad??
Please chime in.I think this issue is really weired personally.it has been
Screwed me up for 6months.
Cheers,
Pop.
