    wot sensor is this???

    hi ,
can anyone assist in a sensor identification , this appears to be oil sensor of
some kind , it sits on n/s of engine block pretty much inline with the main radiator , and is the lower of the two sensors in that area ,with a single wire
coming from it . ? leaking oil so can assume its oil pressure or temp ??
    or ???
    95 aby engine..
    cheers dave

The lower one is the 1.8 bar oil pressure switch. Replace it ASAP. They're only £7.63 + VAT from us main stealers but can be a bit of a swine to get to if you have got the right socket.

I say replace it ASAP as whilst pulling 140mph (on the runway at the bottom of my garden) the top blew clean of mine and sprayed oil everywhere. Apparently I looked like a red arrows display team as I passed a work colleague.
