Where to get a Turbo inspected / Serviced?

Hey all, long time no see so to speak....

As per my sig, ive been happily driving my Mk5 Golf GTi for a while now and loving it and am well on my way down the $lippery slope of mods!

I have just got my hands on a low mileage K04 turbo and before go thru the hassles of fitting it, i want to get it checked out to ensure all is well first.

I've spoken with a couple of turbo places that have both quoted me about the same money for this.... around £55+VAT to look it over, spin it up, check the seals and play etc. and print outs of whatever stuff they do to verify things - its all a bit of a mystery to me to be hoenst

Before going for it tho with companies ive never used i'm after any recommendations and thought what better place to ask than the tuning crazy S2Forum, so... does anyone have any good recommendations of companies for inspecting this turbo before getting it fitted?

Or equally, any companies that they think i should avoid.

I have used most turbo companies and you will not find any better than Universal turbos

The guy who works innash mills not far from you. He drives the skyline powered Nissan patrol in homeland is based above milboor engineering. He's pretty turbo mad and would probably be able to help
