    Fuel Lines

Hi could anyone tell me what the internal diameter of the main fuel lines (feed and return) that run under the car are?

I sprung a leak on sunday pipes were rotten through should of replaced them sooner ended up having to get the car recovered and as it wont be getting dropped off until tomorrow (long story) I thought i'd find out if i could get away with avoiding the stealer and getting some replacement pipe of the correct bore and material. Any suggestions would be helpful i.e. stockists of particular pipe, what pipe is suitable.

    Cheers Andy
P.S. Car is a 94 ABY coupe if that makes any difference

    hi Andy
    ,

im busy with putting new fuellines under my project car, and i am replacing them by ones wich have the same measures as the original lines.
They are about 8mm outside diameter, and roughly 6mm inner from a 3B but i guess they arent that different on a ABY.
The sort of pipe i use is high pressure steel lines wich are meant for industrial uses like oil and stuff.

    Cheers,

    Cees

Dutch......have you considered internally plumming them...ie' running them inside the car? Saves them from corrosion etc

I would use copper piping of the appropriate bore... Won't corrode.
