As long as you have a good fuel pressure regulator I would think it would be ok. I would increase the size of your fuel pipes to 10mm and it may even be worth fitting a fuel pressure gauge to keep your eye on it. But at least your pump is future proof for further mods :thumbs
Looks about right Tomas, you need a 044 in tank to keep the swirl pot full as your E85 burns faster than petrol. You might get away with the stock pump as a lift pump but is it really worth it? Lines your going to need -8AN minimum feed and -6AN return again minimum.
I have a turbo smart regulator i think this takes up to -12AN fittings and is good for 1200hp but costs a pretty penny. As Tonks said a FP gauge would be worth having at this point as your going to need to set the required fuel pressure any how.
Oh and sort the lines out from the tank OEM tank to the swirl pot. i have AN fittings for these some where if you need them, they go -8AN feed and -6AN return
I will buy a 044 also if you thing thats what i need
Many say that the return should be at least equal size as the feed?
Al the Pro stuff has AN12 fittings
(James! Have they responded to the mail? Not managed to get through on phone yet.)
Very nice looking kit!!!! My 2pence worth I would fit same size pipe on flow and return as you don't want for any reason to have a restriction of pressure back to the tank just in case this causes the pressure regulater to remain open. Not likely but a belt and braces job would be good... The pump you have is more than enough to cope with flow and pressure.
I would also suggest that the return pipe from catch tank to main tank is yet bigger still my thinking would be that at some point there is the potential of 2 pumps filling that space at once.
