Does anyone know how a 3b cross member would have to be modified to fit an ABY Avant? I've not yet had a 3b cross memeber near the car yet so it would be nice to know what im letting myself in for

A small guide would be good if anyone has one or can do one. Would make my last bigot accident damage repair easier to solve/ fix.

The xmember are a direct fit, the difference is the mounting points for the Intercooler
This is what is different between the 3b / ABY / ADU xmember due to the IC sizes.
If you were going to fit it to an ABY you'd need to make a bracket to attach the aby IC to the 3B xmemberComment

ah sorry, didnt realise you were listing them in size order.
So to clarify the 3B XM and IC will fit straight on but obviously not going to perform aswell as an ABY intercooler?
Should suffice over winter to get the car back on the road, then upgrade time me thinks

The 3B XM have a 90° bend on the exit where it connects to the hose, the ABY XM don't!
Tried to fit a ABY XM on my 3B and had to work around this with some additional piping. As you have an ABY you will have to cut off the bend I think..?Leif-Helge

Hi Guy's,
As you can see I'm new here and haven't got time to search all past posts about my problem.
I own an S2 with a 3B engine and guess what I've tried everywhere to source the pipe between the Air Vain (mass sensor) and Turbo, has anyone got any idea where I can get this pipe without doing an ABY conversion.
Any help will be gratefully received.
