We got a nice cold spell over the last couple of days, with nighttime temps dropping down to -8C and some patches of snow here and there.
All cars dig cold temps, but our high boosting turbo cars love it even more.
Did some IAT logs with -3C ambient. IAT was 2C at peak boost/torque and 5C at 7000rpm. Nice, cool and good power too.

we had 3.5 ambient in the morning today, and as i was cruising on the motorway i did get -1 IAT for a while. Then with a warm engine (74C) and 9 IAT to begin with, i went to 18C on a 3d gear pull up to 6300rpm. On the new firmware i take away .50deg of timing at 20C IATs but i have given a +50 to begin with anyway
haha yes, not to mention the problem i had on cold start with vems, going to a VE bin that was too rich for idle making the car run like crap! made some adjustments yesterday though!
me too. i drove to kirkham near blackpool. i made a few mods to cruise. my last mods riched it up by 0.05-0.08. i pulled a degree or 2 and added a few in other spots.
car started straight away i must say but it sulks for a few seconds. no idle valve.
