turbo problems??

recently the piece of pipe joining the metal pipe along the engine to the one coming up from the intercooler has been getting blown off!

it has been replaced at sometime from the original as it is blue, and looks similar to samco but not as thick. i have tightened the jubilee clips as much as i can, but am still having problems.

i have not increased the boost, and even refitted the standard airbox.
also there seems to be a small amount of oil in the pipes, is that a sign the turbo needs lookin at?

will new clips and a pipe cure this? is there some more serious work needed?

Try buying some new clips and see if that helps it. I was forever blowing that pipe into bits. Ask Trist!

Try oiling the old clips for now (along threaded part) sometimes they wont do up all the way as they go tight on the threads.

A small amount of oil is normal mate, thats just breather fumes. Al song as its doesnt pour out as mine used to.
