I also have the belt sqeak/sqeal on my car. On rainy or damp conditions the belt is quiet until the car warms up, but during dryer days the squeal is really bad. I tried tightening the tensioner and squeal got worse, when I loosened it, the squeal quieted down a bit (i'm not brave enough to loose all tension on it whilst the engine is running). I have changed the tensioner pulley with bearing, belt itself bbut still no luck. The squeal sounds like it's coming from near the PAS and visco pulley.

Should i try to sprey the inside with water just to see if the tensioner is worn(belt slipping?), or to change the wisco pulley?

If the latter, than what are the options on deleting the wisco allthogether but keeping the airon in whe system. Would be a lot sensible to install thin Electric fan instead of the visco and motv the rads more inside, so I have a bit more space for FMIC. But what to do with the belt then?
