S2 pistons

Hi,i hope someone could help me,I'm building a turbo charged engine to fit in a golf 16v(KR engine) ..I will be using S2 pistons..Do i need to get the block bored/honed above 81.00mm for piston expansion? or can they go straight in?.

Do you already have the pistons? If not I have a set of JE pistons that could be used in your engine.

To answer your original question, I would always get the block bored / honed to suit the pistons you are using. Even if your block is on 81mm bore the chances of the new S2 pistons being exactly the same size are slim.
