    N2MB WOT Box

I found this kind of addon to the standard engine management. I have'nt seen any information about this from this forum(or any other familiar forums for that matter), hence the thread.

Basically WOT Box adds two major features to any car. They are No-lift shifting and 2-step launch control. Both of these features are completely user-programmable using the WOT Box Graphical User Interface.

Since it sounds quite interesting, and youtube is full of demo videos, I started looking for fitting instructions and found this: http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page...es/WOTBox.html
What bothers me, is that I would have to run all Coilpack/POS power trough the box, this does not look like a good idea. Maybe would be good idea to replace this connection with relay, Probably CAT's would not like the Launch Control in the long run.

Has anyone got idea what this sort of wiring might cause, and has anyone got any experiences with this?

Yes it works in my GT3582 S2 without any Problems !! And Yes, all coils go through the box... you can use OEM cruise control switch at clutch pedal and you should wire to get signal from 5th injector and NOT from 5th Ignition Amplifer!

That's the part that's worrying me, with the ammount of current that's going trough the box, is it safe? Would not want a smal fire in my car because of that. A bit safer variant would be to use some fast responsive relay with enough current reserve, or am I only one seeing the original Wot-box solution a bit dangerous?

Also, any flaws or cons with this box to concider?

I got no fire... neither at 290 km/h on Autobahn... but I had doubts about that too...

...but In my case it works for months without problems...

(but I allways carry a fire extinguisher in that car because at this level its recommended )
