We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
My car is currently in a pub car park......and not going anywhere....i ran out of fuel (dont laugh)...the read out said i had 20 miles left and i stopped 50 yrds short of the petrol station.
Having put petrol in it will kick over but will not fire.....any ideas?????

fuel pump gone for a ****,? off the top of my head think there £90 from german n sweedish, when mine went if u put your finger over the return pipe(rail side) building up the pressure in the rail it should try n run, (you need two people to do this) only thing i can think of at the mo that would be fuel related bar the obviouse fuel filter blockage
the pump may still work a little bit, hence blocking the return pipe, another give away, listen for the pump trying to prime when the ignition is turned on, pump is submerged in the tank in the boot by the way
passanger side, underneath, infront of rear tyre looks like a tin of beans,(fittings have to be very very tight or will leak! not too tight or you will snap the banjo bolt, bout 6 squids never usally replaced, nearly always full of black ****
