I do so every day, why?

    For 3 bar map sensors - http://gm.mainframe.no/stuff/freescale.pdf.
For 2.5 bar ones you can find the datasheet using google.

Oh and, here are the target boost values from the stock ECU (overboost):
    Code:
    0.63
    0.76
    0.82
    0.93
    1.04
    1.04
    1.00
    1.00
    1.00
    1.00
    0.96
    0.98
    1.01
    0.57
    0.57
    0.57
RPM is 400 step, starting from 6800.

Sorry, I thought you meant you had something new. Yes, I have seen FreeScale info before, which I shared with my home forum, quattroworld.

      Thanks for the new link.

That can't be "overboost" but just boost. 1.01 = overboost max? Don't think so. We may have a language problem. Overboost is that 15 seconds of extra boost the ECU provides under certain WOT situations, not "over" atmospheric pressure.

We don't have a language problem.
          That's overboost.

          Boost:
          Code:
          0.46
          0.52
          0.61
          0.68
          0.68
          0.70
          0.76
          0.86
          0.95
          1.00
          0.96
          0.98
          1.01
          0.57
          0.57
          0.57
Remember, this is "Target Boost". M2.3.2 has a corrected PI controller with base duty, it does overshoot a bit initially. Look for Bosch patents from the '80-s if you want to know how it works.
But this is exactly how these ECU's are mapped in stock form.

Stop "thinking" there is nothing to "think" here

The UrS4 Motronic was not developed in the 1980's. The UrS4 overboost was a feature related to the development of the AAN. You must have different atmospheric pressures in Latvia because in North America, during WOT, in say, 3rd gear, the stock ECU would produce a short period of 17 psi of relative boost (1.17 Bar over atmospheric) on an analogue boost gauge with the trip computer showing 2.1 or 2.2 bar Absolute at the same time. That is more than 1.01 Bar relative.

Wrong, the patents were filed at the end of the 80's mostly.
3B boost control works very similarily. While AAN fuel injection was a huge change, a new generation compared to 3B, the difference between AAN and 3B boost control is more of evolutionary nature.
I actually know this from disassembling and spending half a year on looking through the code and in some parts improving it.

First of all, I don't live in Latvia.
Second, ditch the analogue gauge and use a digital one or better yet, actually LOG the voltage of the MAP sensor (you can use the blue-yellow wire behind the instrument cluster). An analogue gauge is not very exact.
Yes, it overshoots a bit, but that goes down almost instantly. This is not overboost, it's just the way the boost controller works.

              All that said...
              1) I probably know a bit better than you how the ECU works.
              2) I can't believe how long we have argued about 0.1 bar

Apologies for the the Latvia. I should have said Estonia.

I only argued about 0.1 Bar because you wouldn't give it to me. I still think 2.1 or 2.2 bar in overboost was real. Anyway, who runs a stock ECU these days? My AAN is fully RS2'd with MRC software giving me 288 reliable whp at 26 psi (1.8 Bar) relative boost (measured with an analogue gauge AND a digital TDS-1 available AFTERMARKET in North America).

It's real in the form that it overshoots to 1.1 or perhaps a tiny wee bit more for a moment, but it doesn't stay that way.
My point is mainly that the computer should not really be trusted.
