strange noise in 3B engine / cold start

well my friends I have new problem with my engine..

I't starts before few month , day after hard car running on the hills . next morning I heard it lest 2 second, and nothing.. every morning 2-3 second and everything is perfect..

but now when temperature outside drop on -5 or -8 degresse it is enormus noise at idle, but if I give them a little more power (rise the rpm to 1200) ,the noise gone, release the throttle, they drop on idle and noice came back.. that spend 3 minute , and after that everything is ok.. until when engine cool down, then noice come back again...

car run perfect, , oil pressure are ok, everithing is ok... what can caus that problem..

here is a short "video" sound of that noice. you will herad that noice from 0:28-0.38 , then sound is ok... sorry for bad sound.. and please elemenate sound of tapets.

    THANKS for all advices...

    Igor

Remove the sump and check the rod bearings.
It seems that is the bearings season now!
I think is from the rods! Hope i am wrong!
      Regards!

Hard to say from the video but it doesn't sound like an engine problem to me. Try taking off the auxiliary belt to see if it goes, also does it stop when you push the clutch in?

There is tappet noise there, not sure about the other noises, as mentioned above take the belts off as my alternator made some scary noises, and my PAS pump also made a good bit of noise

DJones you have good ear , but on that video some noise (tik ,tik, tik, tik) do the tapets and some gearbox...
i don't know how to isolate the sound of that .
it is not tiking (tik, tik) it is sound like concrete mixer... something like (hrmmm.....hrmmm....hrmmm ) now i listen video one more time and i think that best sound of that is at 0:11-0:13 sec

                  very bad sound...

                        could be :

                        -power steering pump
                        -alternator
                        -water pump

as said by members try to get off belt from each to isolate noise

I know what that is.... pull the timing belt cover and I bet you the timing belt and cam gear are eating into the inside of the cover. Easier than fully removing just loosen the allen that secures the cover down. This will release the pressure on the cover and pull it away from the T-belt. If that isnt it, its your PAS pump.

well my friend I konw what are you talking about, but it is not, because I take timing belt cover off and try to start the car without them... it is not.. I know that cind of sound, was on my car before 2 years..

for now I'm 99% shure that is alternator problem... I did check today at morning , and listen it with metal cain on my ear...

I will do total rebuilt of alternator, and if noise gone.. than all ok..

                            what is PAS pump?
