Not the clearest description of symptoms I've seen, but I'm suspecting an air leak here. What boost does the car produce ? Are there any fault codes ?

ive not got a turbo boost gauge in my car, but ive had a look underneath the car to see if there was any ripe of leaks from the pipes coudnt see any i was going to get a turbo gauge fitted but i coudnt work out where the vacum pipe was on the S2.
the car sounds like its got a dump valve in. when it hasnt so i was thinking along the same lines an air leak or losing pressure from somewhere cant work out where, then someone told me this is what happens when a turbo is near the end of is life
