Please tell me what is ignition timing on idle in S2 no mod. (3B)

There is no ignition angle given as it changes all the time because the ECU adjusts it. All you do is set the dizzy on the two marks and the ECU takes over

OK but.....
When your engine on idle you can change base timing ignition but only on idle, and after ecu use this in rpm function.
I remove distributor and don`t check this timing.

Oh, you cant check it at idle as it moves all the time. You cant make it stay still to take a base measurement. I have tried with VAG 1551, but it wont allow on the 3B

OK Please tell me how I can set distributor in correct position beacuse he may turn, right or left.

Its 9.8 degrees BTDC at idle on 3B or ABY

Didnt realise that could be checked :S Can that be done with VAG COM then??

VAG-COM displays that data for the ABY engine - better OBD than 3B, but of course the 3B runs on same idle timing.
