Looking for a hall sender for an early AAN tuna can

This is the hall sender for the cam position sender that is in the "tuna can" dizzy, driven off the intake cam, used in 92 model year S4s built to mid-Feb.



I thought somebody suggested that there was a VW (or maybe even a 3B) hall sender that worked and asked the question before in this thread:

Wy an early distributor hall sender will not work? The design is the same.....i will dig out an old dizzy and check iff is working...i am pretty sure should be able to fix that inside the aan dizzy. Just a thought.

Take care at the gear...as that one has the 3B item...not the AAN...

What about the drive gear configuration? I know the 3B drive gear (on the left below) is different than the AAN drive gear (on the right below) but I do not know what the 7A drive gear is like.

wow. did not know that about the gear teeth. that will not work (7a/3b distributor, unless you got the right gear end, or swapped cams).

Or...install the 3B or 7A hall sender inside the AAN dizzy..

What does the Hall sender look like in a 7A, NM and 3B distributor?:

here is an 7A or 3B hall sender after removing the pin from the gear, gear and shaft.
You can see that is fixed with 3 small philips screws in the casing. I am pretty sure is the same at all dizzy's. I will be more sure tomorow after i will have the old style dizzy in front.

Thanks. Is it possible to read any numbers on the Hall sender, e.g. HKZ101, HKZ101S, HKZ121, etc., so I can check whether BB AutoMacao has a replacement part (like the one's from the Group Buy).
