    VAG-COM and Audi RS2 engine

I received my VAG-COM kit today and started it up. I connect fine and everything seems to be fine as connectivity to the engine goes.

    I have a RS2 with the ADU engine (ECU = 8a0 907 551 c) and want to log/create a graph for boost levels.

I have found the following controllers in my car :

    1 Engine
    3 Abs
    8 Clima
    15 Airbags
    25 Immobilizer

My problem is that there are no predefined labels for the ADU engine. The ADY engine (ECU=895-907-551-A) is probably very similar. And I have no summary over what the different numbers mean.

    So my questions are :

    1. Have anyone made a label file for the ADU engine ?

    2. Or could I simply use the ADY label file (renaming it to my ecu name) ?

    3. What block should I measure to see my boost levels ?

You cannot log boost levels in our cars with vag-com.

The way I log boost is to have the boost gauge on the steering cloumn cowel and video the rev counter and boost gauge together. You can then plot this later and add it to any vag-com logs.

Yes, I saw that in the "Reparaturleitfaden" (found it yesterday) with the description for most of the codes for the RS2. So I`ll maken a label file from it. I can use much from the ABY file that Paul has made. After a quick check there are atleast some differences as to the normal operating range for some sensors.

Yes - the RS2 DOES have some slight difference in OBD data blocks at idle compared to ABY. I will try to upload that data to S2 Central soon...
