I had a chat with 034 motorsport about htis about a year ago and Javad said to me that he was running around 250bhp through a 7a engine with no intercooler. And if you think how hot it gets over there thats pretty good. I opted for a aby route as its less hassle. But a 90q with a 7a is still an option.

I was saying that doing rods and pistons in a 7a make it as strong as any other I5 20vT with aftermarket pistons and rods. I know you have seen me argue against swapping out the 7a on MG (as I have on QW, and AZ).

you just answered everything in your post. ;D if you have a car with 7A engine, You got to bloody mad, to pull that out install turbo engine dealing with harness etc, I wish I never installed AAN in my car in a first place that was biggest waist of time and money, for less $$$ you can make 7A stronger than any stock 5 cil turbo motor
