which sort of spark plug socket fits

just bought 2 socket things to undo the spark plugs the first one the handle started to bend so stopped using it , then got another one to fit on ratchet spanner and extension and it would nt fit down the damn hole ,is there a special tool for this or can any one advise which make of socket spanner does actually fit the b*st*rd car before i go out and buy even more tools.
Have been advised not to tackle the car with the lump hammer
nor drive if off beachy head

Also how easy is it to get the injectors out and how can you tell if it s duff

I nearly got my 1/2" drive spark plug socket stuck in the plug bore, the socket started to pick up in the bore as i undone the plug, so i tightened the plug up and using the head of an allen bolt and carefull manouvering i got it out. In the end i used a 3/8" socket set as the sockets are thinner walled and it works a treat.

Well, you can't use it to torque them to a specific amount, but you could use the handle end of the oem lug bolt wrench.
