    Copper Fuel Lines

    Hi All,

Can anyone recommend what copper pipes i should be using for fuel lines? I've search and found it should be 8mm bore but any specific grade?

    something like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-METRES-8mm-...#ht_796wt_1139??

    Cheers

See if you can get the cupronickel (need spell check) stuff. The copper will go green, this stuff won't.

reckon it'll be 3 of those 7.5m lengths! plenty of waste!

I can't remember exactly how much I used, 10m/30ish feet sounds familiar, I only ran two lines though, still had left overs, just ditched the carbon canister and vented fuel tank to atmoshpere. Going up the back if the rack is fiddly.

i used 1 x 7m roll and had some left over, that was doing 2 lines from the tank to the bottom firewall just behind the front subframe. (I deleted the carbon cannister circuit) So i'd say you would probably do it with 10m for all 3

Lines go from fuel filter/ tank return to the fuel rail; they go from the fuel filter across to the other side of the car, (above exhaust), head forward and run up the front of the firewall behind the power steering rack, across the back of the engine bay and onto the braided lines that go onto the fuel rail. They are under heat shielding when they run near the exhaust.

yup. I only did mine as far as the bottom of the bulkhead as the lines were perfect from there up since they are covered by a heatshield, also it would be impossible to replace the lines in one piece unless the rack was out
