See other thread on this... I am 99% sure that FP relay only needs good RPM signal before ECU activates - this is 100% true on ABY software.

I'll see if I can dig up some diagrams I did on this way back in the past - I was helping someone convert from a KV engined B3 to an S2 engine and he had much confusion on the fuel pump. The 3B/AAN/ABY/ADU wiring and fuel pump relay are pretty unique in this regard - some other B3/B4 engines share the same relay but the wiring is very different ==> you MUST pay careful attention to how the S2/RS2 loom integrates with the fusebox - hence why I produced the pin for pin account on S2central.net to help people.

Unfortunately that document only works for an ABY/ADU loom transfer - the AAN loom is physically different - but logically identical (captain).

I'd also be appreciative Paul, we've just removed an AAN (UrS6) for the RallyRep.

Best way for me to do this - helping you and others for years to come - is to send me that AAN loom so I can do similar pin for pin analysis and document it all. I will end up labelling your loom for extra easy installation along the way. Send me a PM if interested.

Here is the old PDF that shows B3 wiring differences for KV and 7A machines - see how the fuel pump relay is different and how the S2/RS2 loom is used to interact with pins BS, 87a and O on the fusebox in respect to the fuel pump.

You need to see the ABY wiring doc on S2central.net to appreciate this in glorious details
