Engine bay plastics

I am thinking of removing the plastic around the radiator on my ABY. I am fed up of never having access to to the right hand side of the engine.

Is this a good idea or will it cause cooling problems? I am also removing the aux radiator.

I also live in Shetland so it is certainly does not get too hot up here.

You'll be alright, I live in a tropical place called Leeds and mine didnt have one on for about two years,dosen't really make a difference that i noticed.

i done away with all mine for the same reasons. Never had any trouble.
