Can somebody tell me please....iff the 0.05mm measured with plastigauge at the bearings is ok! From new...the book says a little lower.
What do you think? I should scrap the crank?
Thank You!
All the best!
Eugen
Manaul says 0.058mm is top limit when new, wear limit is 0.16mm. I would say it's OK, but to be on the safe side you could get it re-ground and use oversize bearings.

What engine are you working at?I hope it is not yours or Nemilos. When you sent me plastigauge mine was 0.05-0.06.It is now working with 1.5 bar boost and seems to be fine.4 -5 bar cold iddle,2 bar hot iddle,1.8 bar iddle 130 dgr at oil..
With 130 dgr temperature of oil at 2000 rpm it is aprox 4 bar.
Thank You for answers guys!
I work at the engine for that rally replica now!
My engine has been balanced, checked, polished journals..ETC. by Aelred.
Mine is ok for sure...but i didint measured mine.

I didint know!
Sorry for messing up the thread, but is it the same for rod bearings as well?
