Wanted - MFTS connecter plug?

Just replaced my fooked MFTS and the 4 holed connecter plug is in desperate need of replacing. Must've corroded with all the coolant p!ssing through it.

Is it possible to buy the plug along with a decent length of wire from a dealer or auto parts supplier, or does anybody on here have one they no longer require in good condition?

I think the MFTS connectors get brittle and break because of the heat that they live in. The PN for a new connector is 893971974.

Its about a fiver from the dealer for the plug and the four pins (pins come with a length of wire on them)

dont forget pins are double ended, so if you need 4 wires/pins only order 2 wires

I keep the connectors in stock, cos you can always count on an S2 to need one if you go anywhere near it!

I do sell them, but it would be far better for yourself to go to your local audi dealer and buy a new one. I keep one here for emergencies!

Just got a price for these from the dealers, £2.10 for the plug.

They said the wires aren't available to buy singular or in a required pack size and are only available as a multipack which by their own admission is quite pricey! So does anybody know the length/size of the wires I'd require?

Hahaa I thought the same as I've had similar experiences with these "trained specialists" in the past, so got them to look twice but the young lad was adamant there was no pack of wires to go with it... very frustrating!

haha thats what i was gonna say, the parts bloke at york audi searched for about 2 hours trying to find some wires for me for an s3 not long back

Wires/pins are available, come with pins on each end so you need two and cut them in half.
