    help needed low boost

when i first had the car 6 weeks ago car was boosting fine but now and then would drop of, so joined s2 forum and found lots of info to check out on car , found split
o ring on intercooler so ordered pipe 60mm to 70mm . after fitting car started to drink fuel quickly found out that stat was faulty and mfts and wiring block broke , replace all and vag com the car giving me intermittent maf also lamda probe faulty.replaced both items now car runs crisp on throttle and fuel is back to normal but boost will only
pull 1.1 and hold there , also put new dv007 on and n75 . done boost leak test to to intercooler and hoses no leaks and hoses to and from turbo ok , i have just ordered complete set of boost hoses from forum so today decided to strip down ready, checked turbo there is lift on shaft approx 2mm . car was std when i bought it.
anyone know where i should be looking now

well you should get about 1.4 boost on stock rs2 ..... first check for any boost leaks, vag-com errors, .......

Pressure test from the MAF, block off breather hoses though.
Also, check breather hoses for leaks.

When you say there is 2mm lift on the turbo shaft, do you mean like this?

yes up and down on turbo , when i presure tested from maf to throttle pipe and i did only block off 1 breather to head (angled metal pipe) i could not hold any pressure. so tested in sections and no leaks but pipe of turbo to n75 should have been blocked of as well otherwise leaks into wastegate

                        Well here is your problem.
You should be easily able to hold 0.5 bar like that.
N75 has a small restrictor... you can try to block off the WG hose though.

But always test the entire thing.
