Hello. My After run pump starts when I turn the on ignition !!
and my fuelpump keeps running when only ignition on ??? Anyone know why ? Thanks for all answers!!
You don't mention which car you have 3B S2, ABY S2, AAN UrS4/6 or RS2. All I know is that is definitely not right for an AAN UrS4/S6, as explained here for the after-run pump:

It should run for a few seconds when u turn ignition on.
Which "it"? The fuel pump or the after-run pump?
For the AAN, the answer is neither should run with just the ignition turned on. The B3/B4 S2/RS2 *might* be different for the fuel pump but the after-run pump should not run except in "after-run" ignition off, coolant temp 110C, situations.

Whilst mine is no longer in an URS4 it has the loom etc, wired as per the original wiring and the after run pump primes when the ignition is turned on and thereafter only works when the appropriate temps are reached...
I have seen three others, whilst still in a URS4 do the same...

Hmm.... I guess I am learning something new.
I will have to check. I have never noticed mine coming on except after a good run in the summer.
