no spark no out put to the amp's , so im gessing its the senser in side the cam cuver ? hall sender?

cant get vag-com to work on it to pull codes but it works on my sis's vw polo

If you turn on the ignition and view boost on the dash, what does it show?

I had one like this the fuse haad blown by the ecu. Turned out to be a faulty coil pack. blowing the fuse.

Does sound like the Hall sender. If you don't have access to VAG-com to confirm, then it is possible to blink out the codes using this procedure:

You will be looking for a 2113 code.

If it is the Hall Sender, you can follow this procedure to replace it:

cant get vag-com to work on the white and black plag only seem to work on the big one , i will blink codes at the weekend , not bad the car has done 200k and ran rs2 turbo for some of it still pulls like a train to

there all good his had it at a local workshop but they could not work out what was up with it , they did not know you could pull codes so started chaging stuff , the rong stuff speed sencers in the gear box LMAO like thats going to tell it when to fire , they have had the car for 12 weeks , hoping to fix it there and drive it off rubbing there nose's in it!

Not all cars have a CEL light
But yes, other way is to check the MAP readout on the dash, if that's stuck at 0.2 the ECU is not getting any power.

I will be totally 100% shocked that an UrS-car (at least C4 UrS4/S6s) don't have a CEL/MIL.

Note: not all UrS-cars have a MAP readout in the dash.

A very early s4 avant i got the other day is the only S car i have ever owned or known of in the UK to have a cel light,maybe it was something north american cars have as standard?as every other s2/4/6 i have had has never had one
