which coil packs to use

I'm using 034 high output DIS coil packs right now

Take on into a Mercury inboard/outboard boat motor shop. You *might* get lucky.

Specifically, try your luck with this Part Number. (No guarantee - this Mercury coil *looks* like the 034 HO coil but 034 *says* they had their custom built.

Yes they are (as you say, if your the original owner). I had one fail on me. No quibbles, just returned it, they check it out then sent me a replacement.
