Valve under dash - Help????

Doing a bit of tidying up today and was tidying some stereo wire under the glovebox when i must have moved something as i heard a hiss (discharge of pressure?) and then nowt. Started the car and sure enough whistling from under dash!!!

So investigate and i find this valve, was attached to glovebox but one end open and vac hose going nowhere??? couldn't find any open connectors or other pipes? this surely doesn't connect to itself?

It's to control the recirc flap on your heater box. It should be retained with one Phillips screw from memory

was attached but what do the open end and pipe connect to????

It should connect to the recirc valve on the blower box, look underneath

Ah hold on I see you've got the reverse! the end is connected to the blower but the other end is disconnected!

yup recic conected so where do thes two go????

You need to find the vac line from the looks of it the line has been cut!

Marvelous!!! this gonna effect boost or ecu issues etc??
