Hi guys,
I guy I know, who has recently bought a '95 RS2 (tuned), is having problems to make it run properly.
His tuner told him he did several tests without obtaining satisfactory resulsts, so he thinks problem might be the ECU itself (not the chips. They fitted some OEM ones back to try) but he actually has not been able to find one for testing, jet .
I offered to let him borrow my spare '96 RS2 ECU, but this has an inbuilt immobilizer, so I don't know how to make it run.
Does anybady know how to overcome the problem?
Is this feature contained in some map inside one of the chips, therefore changing them with some '95 RS2 ones might work?
Thanks
Marco
