That's beside the point.

Dizzy is weak link on the 3B. I did once cook up a plan for solid state alternative to take 3B onto coilpacks without loom surgery and ECU swap. If there is sufficient interest I would seriously take it on.

i think there would be simply based on how cheap 3B looms and ECUs are compared to ABY gear for 20vt engine swaps, and also as a cheaper way to upgrade 3Bs

Also looking at RR airbox for mine as ABY is never going to fit in a series 2, already tried, that or custom make something.

350hp 3B = RS2 turbo, injectors, exhaust, 250kpa map, sw. Other routes are of course possible but harder and more expensive.

No spark hopping will happen if the right narrow tip rotor is used.

I have a dyno sheet with 362hp from a car with 3b air box. No problem there.

Somewhere around 500hp your spark energy level becomes a problem. Nowadays of course there are cures for that too. Just throw in a CDI-upgrade and the limit is somewhere much higher.

These (air box, dizzy..) are just the kinds of limitations that really do not exist. They become limitations and truths when they're repeated and repeated at forums for years.
OK of course there is a limit for each air box but now I ment using 3B in RS2 setup.

You can use the hot side from one of these for 400+.
Easier is to use just the housing and mate it to an Audi K26 as the shaft and turbine wheels are the same. Water lines are differently in Audi/Porsche center sections.
