HELP - Problem idling after throttle lift off

OK gurus
I have a problem dropping back to idle after accelerating. It sounds like a Bridgeported RX7 and 'pops' out of the rear of the exhaust before eventually settling down. It also feels doughy when accelerating. I have changed the following:
ISV (genuine)
MAF (genuine)
N75 valve (s2_bo / rusty can't remember who )
ignitors x 2 (genuine)
Checked for boost leaks - changed silicon Throttle body boot.

Now at a loss at what to check. Boosts ok up to 25psi+
Worse when engine warm
All help appreciated
I'm wondering whether TPS could be at fault. Am looking to check taht out with my mechanic on Monday night.
