Recently, my S2 3B has developed quite a high pitched noise when its running. Definitely coming from the engine, sounds like it is coming from the fuel pressure regulator. Anyone got any ideas what it could be? Probably worth commenting that the car doesnt run 100% smoothly at idle - I sometimes notice a dip in the oil pressure gauge and rev counter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Actually, I'm guessing that its the fuel pressure regulator. I dont know much about cars etc. but always find it helpful if you can point the local mechanic in the right direction! The noise is coming from next to the fuel injectors ( the silver rectangular thing!)
