    Hyperboost DV

My RS2 currently has a Hyperboost DV fitted - fitted by QST about 18 months ago. As the DV is one of things on the list for the garage to check next week to try and find out why the car isn't running as an RS2 should, I wondered what your views were on the best DV should it need replacing.

The Hyperboost one seems to get good write-ups, so should I stick with it, upgrade to the HX version, or use something else?

I have that one fitted at the min and it seems fine to me, cant really tell too much until the car has had exhaust sorted properly.

You could always fit a standard 710N type DV to eliminate that from your list.

Nothing wrong with it, very good dumpvalve, i have the AMD viper the prequel to the hyperboost.

End of the day an after market dump valve is an after market dump valve no matter whatever marketing ploys say.

The only real choice to make is piston or diaphram.
With piston being more relieable and servicable and the diaphram being quicker reacting but may need a new diaphram from time to time.

Well I use the stock S3 DV. They dont last all that long at high boost, and can 'blow up'. Must buy a decent one one day

Hmm, did suggest to him indoors that he might let me try the N75 valve from his S3 on my car to eliminate that as an issue. He wasn't impressed with that idea. Doubt he'll let me try the DV either.
