yeh well gutting, its a shame m.r.c had to cancel on me ive been calling daily but they are saying it will be weeks untill thier 5cylinder chipping is back in action
ill be ringing MTM tommorrow i desp need my car sorting out, just to see thier waiting times
yes m.r.c do custom mapping, and mtm do they just call it a stage 3 chip
And that won't work for you!
Especially if you get the 4 bar MAP sensor... and also your turbo is special, they can't just stick a RS2 chipset on there...
Stick with MRC mate, you will be much happier with the car with a custom remap! Chances are it'll never run right with those MTM chips.

how much would a flight to the uk cost you ?
Between 50 and 120 EUR return trip to East Midlands depending on how many things I take with me heh...
Similar rates to Stansted.
No idea, it doesn't need that much gear.
All you basically need is two emulators, an adapter board, a portable datalogger with sensors, a chinese VAG-COM cable, a chip programmer an EPROM eraser, a soldering station + supplies and a laptop.
Can't see why that'd take so long to replace.
(Well, obviously you need one thing money can't buy as well - knowledge)
