i dont exactly know. ive just been told "the 5-cylinder tuning system has gone down, it is to expensive to replace and may take a month or so to fix!" i guess its thier software for the I-5 20vt has packed in. id waited a month and the day before i was going to drive from leeds down to thier they rang and told me the above. im well gutted lol

im now thinking of tryin MTM but they are even further south, to drive a car thats killin juice as its not runnign correctly

Well, if you really can't get an appointment at MRC, I might be able to get there for a week, but it does not make much sense doing it for just one car. Anyone around Leeds that needs custom mapping?
The problem is also that if something is broken on your car and the parts take time to get there, then you're basically screwed.

Basically this "getting on a plane" thing is quite risky - a lot of "what if's", and if you have an alternative option in the UK, such as MRC, it might be safer to take it.

If your car is knackered, you should try to pull the fault codes off it and generally try to get it running as well as possible.
While I have lots of experience fixing lots of things on these, parts do have a tendency to take some time to arrive.

I wouldnt bother with MTM and 'said garage' in Sussex, they don't do custom mapping..unless you want to fly Peter Link over from MTM. That wont be cheap either.

Mihnea was booked to be thier for me in the 27th april, they told me "the 5-cylinder systems have gone down, its too expensive to replace and its going to take about a month at least to fix" they called me the night before to say it had just gone down on them not to drive all the way down from leeds

i rang today and they said the owner is away for another 4 days before he come back so iv eno update on this, i just call them weekly tryin to get my self in thier as im told Mihnea is the best.

so now i may have to go further south to m.t.m just to get it done :-( but thats a farce in a car that wee's fuel out of the exhaust for the laugh as its not mapped correctly now i have a new turbo on.

If you only changed the turbo and your car is not running right at part throttle then there is definitely something else wrong.
I mean, I understand if you changed the injectors or the fuel pressure, but only with a different turbo it should run fine cruising.

Going to MTM is useless for you if they can not custom map your car. Your car is very much custom. Putting a chip on it that is mapped for an RS2 turbo will leave you with random boost spikes, possibly limp mode.

A waste of time (and money) in my opinion.

my car dives fine, but sice ive put a better turbo on teh car is going slower and struggles to get past 130mph were it used to go off the clock with the old turbo

its frustrating as ive paid for a better turbo but have slowed the car down, this is why i think i need a chip asap

Put your old turbo back on until you can get to MRC.

Why is your car as you say pissing fuel in to the exhaust ? If it was over fueling you would get a fault code for mixture adaptation limit exceeded .

sorry a figure of speach, i ment its just wasting more fuel to go alot slower, its not litteraly leaking into the exhaust pipe, its not popping with ignited fuel or nothing crazy lol

sorry for that, i forget this text game can be mis-understood

O my god ! You have fitted a bigger turbo and then tried to get past 130 mph on a map not for that turbo !

                                Consider yourself lucky .
