    Engine problem 1.8t 20v

I know I know... I should go over to Audi fans........

Latest issue with my wonderful 2000 Audi A4 1.8t, engine cut out just after spitting out a little smoke (missus driving and description, vague I know)

I picked up the fault codes just now and got the following.

    4 Faults Found:

17746 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Open or Short to Plus
    P1338 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16891 - Idle Control System RPM: Higher than Expected.
    P0507 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
    P1557 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
    16712 - Knock Sensor 1 (G61): Signal too High
    P0328 - 35-00 - -

What do you guys think would cause this?

    Some info.....

Engine is recently fully rebuilt and has run faultlessly for around 2000miles (like a new engine ), water pump, oil pump, big and small end barings, clutch, cambelt, all pulleys and tensioners, hydraulic damper, few valves, all gaskets and seals, and bottom end breather pipes.

Oil is present and still clean, water is still in the system, engine still turns (G40 plug removed) no knocking or bad noises.

This is as far as I have got, its pissing it down and the other A4 is currently being rebuilt in the garage, don't mind getting moist but would like some more info before striping.

Im thinking Cam position sensor or turbo failure.

Thats an odd collection of errors, do they come back after a reset? I would have said electrical, check spark and fuel but the puff of smoke is worrying. I would also have a peek inside the timing belt cover to make sure all is ok, had one here recently where the belt had let go.
