I am rebuilding my engine and with the head and the deck of the block both having a very light skim,I think the CR will be to high as it was quite high before the reasent work,I will be running RS2 setup with 3" turbo back exhaust.
What is the best way to achieve a lower CR,two head gaskets,CR lowering gasket or machineing the new Mahyle first oversized pistons.

Reason: wording
Why would you like to lower the CR? With only RS2 specs you should rise it.

CR reducting gasket, on an RS2 power though not really required if it's been skimmed within spec. lowering the cr will allow you to make more power through increased timing but reduced mpg and low end.
Sine the RS2 setup is all about low and mid grunt I wouldn't
Thanks for the the advise, its much appreciated.I want the car to perform well in normal use,not for track etc,its just that through search and what I have been told, to much compression is not good on a turbo charged car.
