    MISSFIRE Madness

hello guys (audi s2 aby )
I posted a thread about 2 weeks ago about a Missfire i've changed the coil plugs and new spark plugs cant seem to work out what it is, i saw something that looked a bit dodgy it was where the whire look went out of the coil packs and went into these connectors the first connector had three pins the second hand 2 the rest had three so wondering if any of you guys know anything about that?

Ignition amplifiers both have 3 channels. And usually 3+3 has been 6 so one channel is left unused on 5 cyl engines.

got a compression test done today it was down a bit but the guy said it was good enough considering tis a m reg car. So still no result in tackling the miss fire so he said it could be either the coil pack or the injectors. so when my car was started he took out the injector plug on 2 of then it never made a diffrence so im wondering how do i take the coil pack out

          Hi!,
Surely if he removed the plug from the injector and it didn't make a difference, that would indicate that the injector or power supply/earth was at fault.
Get someone to measure the resistance between the two pins on the injector. I guess it should be in the region of 16-17ohms. If its open circuit, then theres your problem.
