Think you have fresh hoses - so leak maybe intercooler or TBV.

The other possibility is that N75/Wgfv is leaky or not modulating fast enough. Is it a fresh one ?

Is the TbV plumbed in right way round ?

stripped front end of car pressure tested hoses , blocked off before throttle body no leaks but can hear oil bubbling . pressure tested intake manifold blocked off pipes to ecu found a large air leak only after 1.3 psi from hose under throttle body next to fuel pressure regulator . changed clip retested up to 2 psi no leaks . once i put front bumper back on tomorrow will let you know how i get on

rebuilt the head and all valves reseated and new seals and all new studs after finding stud broke on rear of exhaust manifold decided to rebuild turbo to hybrid took car to mrc and had it remapped and 630cc injectors fitted.
explained to mrc about boost issues all ran ok for them for one week and 400hp result.
got car home after one day holding back on boost again 1.4 should be 1.7 . back to mrc who changed both pos units ran car for a week all ok .
picked car up 18th dec perfect for 100 miles coming home and back to how it was again.
removed altitude sensor on pins 1 and 2 should see 1200ohm , only seeing 460ohm tried to adjust back to 1200 ohm boost came back for 20min drive and back to 490ohm, So have just ordered a new sensor 5 days from Germany and then hopefully job done . to be honest lots of little faults causing problems that's what you get
for having 20 year old car . thank god for the S2FORUM and a lot of patience

Dobbin, thanks very much for an in-depth reply.

Best of luck with it, maybe post the results on here until the car is perfect / stays perfect. Hopefully it's short thread.
