Software is made by SMS, not MTM.

            concerning this web site: http://www.ableitet.no/modeller/S4S6/S4S6-ie.htm
            there were two versions

            Special editions
"SMS Revo (303hp) and SMS Revo S (375hp) was two editions built with the help of Roland Mayer (MTM) for Schmidt MotorSport (SMS). These versions were offered from factory, whereas the cars ordered were sent directly from Ingolstad to Cadolzburg for tuning. The Revo meaning the upgrade to a bigger turbo, new air-ways and a modified enginemanagement, while the Revo S was a more complex build in essence pretty alike what most Audi-tuners would refer to as a RS2-setup with upgraded turbo, exhaust manifold, injectors and a modified enginemanagement. The Revo S kit was for the both Audi S4 and S6."

the question is dedicated to the 375ps version. but i have no answer yet...

afaik it does not use RS2's, as they weren't available when the car came out.
              But don't know which ones.

I *think* the "RS2" injectors were already being used on a Porsche of some type before Porsche raided their parts bins to develop the ABY into the ADU.

nice info, wich makes me believe that the setup is a rs2 copy with its software edited by roland mayer for Schmidt MotorSport.

it's possible. but what is your argument?
you seem to be pretty convinced and this makes me think you know the setup very well.

so make it clear and correct my deception.

There is already enough information in the article UrS4boy posted to show how RS2 setup and the SMS setup attain their power and why they are completely different.

I am 90% sure the reason this thread even exists is because someone got their hands on SMS Revo S software and is now trying to find the matching hardware.
Well, I can tell you that it won't work right now, don't waste your time.

And sorry, I am not going to spoonfeed all details - do some research of your own.

when the sms revo s project came out in the late 1993, the rs2 was available, I think.
as the sms revo s used the kkk 24-7200 turbo, same like rs2, a motronic ecu with s/n 8a0 907 551 - well known, it is assumable that the rs2 was already produced and available.

FYI on an audi s6 with everithing changed to rs2, up and running tuned and chipped, we replaced the rs2 ecu with the menssioned audi s6 sms revo s ecu - s/n 8a0 907 551 C, and the car started and worked correctly, the same power, the same acceleration similar to the rs2 chipped ecu used in the build.

maybe not a bad idea to go to dyno, we'll see...

my german is too weak, and i am awaiting the UrS4boy's file translated from a friend...

                              1. Revo S did not use RS2 turbo afaik.
                              2. Revo S has heavily dropped CR and runs a lot more timing than is possible to run on stock CR motor. Running this on a stock motor will slowly destroy it.
                              3. RS2 was available from July 1994.
                              4. Revo S did not use RS2 injectors either afaik.

Anyway, I'll just keep my mouth shut, since I don't know as much as some pro-tuners
