Dr.Schrick Camshafts on AAN.

Recently,i just got the Dr.Schrick Camshafts from my Bros.
He already sold his UrS6 so this camshafts are just
laying around for a year.the camshafts was purchased
brand new with only 1,000miles on his car.He said
he feels no any significantly gain any extra HP
on his car.The gas consumption is real horrible things.
his car was bone stock at that moment.Well,Now
i got the pair of Camshafts free of charge so What
would i expect any gains from 260degree Dr.Schrick
on AAN?My car has GT2871 with 034's dedicated
software,Full 3" Exhaust.I did search from STFA but
found so much less infos talking about Dr.Schrick
Camshaft on Audi Cars.Bimmer seems more infos
on Dr.Schrick.I'm just on the way thinking to put
this camshafts or go for 7a with the better top ended
result since I'm not funny with paying twice on mechanic
labor charge.TIA.

If they are the schrick turbo cams you will gain top end if the headwork supports the higher lift and there is no restriction in intake/exhaust setup and remapped to suit. You will however loose low down and mid range.

Cam Swap info

Pop: Changing cams is about an hour job and can be DIY. Only tricks are the loosening and tightening sequence and lining up the sprocket marks. (You start with the engine set at Top Dead Centre (TDC) on No.1 like at the start of a timing belt job).
