Engine machinist - Midlands

Can anyone recommend a decent machininst in the midlands?
I've been to see a couple of local places near me and lets just say they didn't seem to understand what I want :corey:

Willing to travel for someone good.

how far and what did you have in mind??...

as far as I need I guess.

I'm blueprinting my engine and spending a lot of time prepping the block, crank, rods etc so I want a professional accurate job doing, not a "that'll do" attitude I've got off people so far

chesman are good from what i ve heard
have you tried Yates's in Longton or Raymond Chase ( Cobridge I think)
Yates's have always been good for me n my dad's cars
