    AAN into S2 Avant

i know fundamentally they are the same engines and many of you are wondering why am i not sticking with the original engine in the s2 (its because the s4 engine has recently had alot of mony spent on it and is in better condition) but what would it take to put an AAN into an s2 chassis i want to keep the inlet manifold as it fits with my future plans of big horse power i know alot of people have done the reverse inlet mod and tyhis is essentially what i want to do but rather than just bolting it onto the ABY i just thought screw it i shall throw the whole lot in, i can strip the ABY parts of that engine if it makes it easier because i know that the positions of the ancilliary stuff like the alternator oil pump etc. are differant to that of an ABY, cheers for any help and sorry if the post is a bit confusing let me know if it is and i shall try my best to explain it better

Other than ancillaries as you say the AAN is identical to the ABY. The breather system is laid out slightly differently but then if you're keeping the AAN inlet manifold then chances are you'll be altering this anyway. I think the water manifolds are slightly different and the outlet on the cam cover to MAF hose differs slightly. But it's only gonna be a case of swapping the required ancillaries from the your ABY.
